My name is Chhiring Sonam Lama, and I was born in the Mount Makalu region of Nepal, home to the world’s fifth-highest mountain.
rnGrowing up in the heart of the Himalayas inspired my lifelong passion for the mountains and exploration.

Mr Chhiring has led high-altitude expeditions across Nepal and internationally since 2007, guiding climbers with unwavering focus on safety, skill, and trust.

My work as a mountain guide and instructor focuses on safety, leadership, and technicalrnexcellence, combined with a deep respect for the natural and cultural heritage of the Himalayas.
